1. Excellent! I appreciate this move by the good Senator.
I will contact both of my Senators and ask them to support it.

Thanks Senator Feingold. Nice work.

5. If it focuses attention on the presidents illegal actions
its worthwhile. Censureship will not succeed but if Americans get behind stopping presidents from breaking the law it will at least focus attention on the important issue which is not surveilance of Al queda but president committing criminal actions without complaint.

6. Then let the Republicans side with their fascist leader
Let them go on record as stating that when the President does it, it isn't illegal. Let them go on record as opposing the Constitutional principles of checks and balances and separation of powers. Let them go on record as stating that the Bill of Rights is so Eighteenth Century. Let them go on record as stating that the President has inherent dictatorial powers.

And let any Dick-Licking Collaborationists join them, if they dare.

10. Sometimes it's good to make the gesture
How many times over the years have we said about some cheap, meaningless political stunt by the Republicans that it was a cheap, meaningless political stunt? And then they get something like the hideous bankruptcy "reform" bill that's going to saddle thousands of people with non-dischargeable debt and protect the rapacious credit industry from its own bad practices. That started out as a "waste of time," too. Until it happened.

Or draconian limits on a woman's right to her own body.

Or vesting the power to make war in the Executive rather than in the Legislative, in spite of the Constitution.

See a pattern?

17. Let them shut it down
Then, it will be obvious to everyone that normal procedures are not viable anymore.

Censure is not impeachment and I'd wager that over 70% of the American people would be in favor of it.

If the Republican Congress shuts it down without even allowing dissent, it will send a strong message that this government is untouchable.

Are they afraid of even a little honest dissent?

9. thanks again Russ
America already owes this modern version of an old-school patriot plenty and if he runs, we'll owe him more... That's the ticket! Instead of putting the country in the deepest national debt in history, let's elect leaders that let us feel we owe them something for their character and courage.

It's your choice America:

this

or this
Kicked :kick: and recommended!
