My theory re: Rush's dissing DU: worried about loss of pardon
in case Bush has to resign or is impeached. With Rush's legal situation such that it is, he may be counting on a pardon if convicted. However, if Bush has to resign or is impeached, I'm not sure he'd get around to pardons prior to leaving office. Rush is angry about the declining poll numbers and probably feels DU is one element which helps feed the discontent?

1. We're too good at countering him...
If we weren't dangerous, they wouldn't be paying us any attention at all.

If you ask me, DU is probably a more valuable resource than most of the liberal blogs combined. And Rush's handlers are beginning to notice.

3. Rush expects to get pardoned?
I think his lying, bloated, drug-addled ass will become the property of a very large man named Bubba.

Your troubles will "seem" to melt away -- you can forget your Jeff Christie identity, your anal cysts, your many wives who have dumped you, your shameful CHICKENHAWK status, and the ETERNITY you will spend in hell for being a demagogue.

The answer is right there in front of you, in that little jar of pills.

5. He knows he is in trouble
Limbaugh hears the clock ticking away. His show has gotten way long in the tooth. And when the Democrats take over the House, Senate and White House the new Fairness Doctrine will send him out on his can if he isn't already in prison by then. Can you imagine Randi Rhodes on all Limbaugh's stations and in his timeslot? It can happen! :bounce:
