- An end to reckless foreign adventurism Vigilant progressives walk softly and carry a big stick. Re engage with our allies and use forceful diplomacy whenever and wherever needed. Use the military as a last resort, only when provoked, and even then still in concert with diplomatic solutions.

- Fiscal responsibility. Balance. The. Budget. If the average American family can do it, so can the government.

- Compassionate, smart government - We do pay taxes. And we expect our tax dollars to be used wisely. If a catastrophe strikes, we expect the Federal government to be ready and watchful and organized and well funded.
