This morning President Bush alluded to the idea/fact that troops would be remaining in Iraq through the end of his Presidency. This morning at a press conference Bush was ask if there would ever come a day when troops would be removed from Iraq. Bush responded by saying that that was a question that would be answered and dealt with by "future president" and "future Iraqi governments". This is an issue that the Democrats need to pick up now. Throughout his presidency Bush has claimed that he did not want to leave future presidents and future generations with the problems of today. Continually Bush has been leaving problem that will have to be dealt with and resolved by future president and future generations. Now he is leaving the Iraq war to be dealt with by future presidents and future generations. I contend Democrats should put this squarely in the lap of Bush. He must be pressed to resolved this situation. In addition, Democrats need to point out Bush's reversal on all these issues.
