Do you think that was the message Republicans wanted out there? I doubt it.


Bush Defends Decisions on Iraq War

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Tuesday the decision about when to withdraw all U.S. troops from Iraq will fall to future presidents and Iraqi leaders, suggesting that U.S. involvement will continue at least through 2008.




Nice lead. It will be in all the papers tomorrow and on all the nightly news shows tonight.

He's thrown in the towel and admitted he's stuck the US ass deep in the Big Muddy with no way out, or at least no way out that Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice are willing to take.

2. That's how I see it.
That little prick is saying, "hasta la vista, troops, Iraqis, I gotta clear some brush!" Others' deaths are meaningless to him. And it is IraqNam now. Hope the headline wakes up his worshippers.

How many more people have to lose their sons, husbands, fathers and brothers before he realizes his terrible mistake?? This is infuriating. My 2 year-old son will probably wind up fighting this damn war.
