1. It's hard to write about the press conference ...
... when there are all of those crosses to burn, hospices to blockade and abortion clinics to protest.

6. I know
If Bush did such a great job, you would see threads saying so, but they are avoiding the topic like the plague! It's really funny to watch!

5. It's plain to see ...
... that the 'blame the Media' talking point has taken hold with Freepers, and big time!

That's to be expected, though. When you're dealing with minds that are totally empty, inserting the talking point du jour is an effortless exercise.

8. We KNOW the truth ...
... but over in Freeperville, the truth is still missing in action.

10. Here's one...
Guess they weren't watching the same press conference as the rest of us. But then, anyone who still supports the clown-in-chief isn't interested in reality.

"PRESIDENT BUSH should hold more news conferences. In his hour-long exchange with reporters at the White House yesterday, he was considerably more effective in explaining and defending his commitment to the war in Iraq than in the three carefully worded speeches he has delivered in the past week. In his sometimes blunt, sometimes joking and sometimes unpolished way, he sounded authentic -- no more so than when he was asked what had become of the "political capital" he claimed after the 2004 election. "I'd say I'm spending that capital on the war," Mr. Bush replied. And so he is."
