Tweety Sounded Pissed Off About * Statements re: Media Coverage
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 09:27 PM by wordpix2
of war: It's all the media's fault, they're not showing the "good news," according to BushCo.

Tweety said 80 reporters have been killed in Iraq. He sounded pissed. Maybe this will be a turning point and more media people like Tweety will start to get the truth out.

1. Well if you start kicking your dog, don't be surprised
if it bites back.

Doesn't * realize that the only reason he has any support at all is because of the media?

There have been signs of the dog biting back, let's hope the dog bites back harder yet.

2. I have started to think of Matthews
as having some form of a multiple persoality disorder. Tomorrow we will see "Tweety the ass kisser" on tv.

6. As a newsman, he rightly doesn't want to take sides. He worked for Dems
and lately he's giving lots of $peeches to Repub group$. He had a lot of questions about the wisdom re: going into Iraq; he was not gung-ho. Then today, he softballs it with an Army couple who were saying the media has it all wrong, there are all kinds of great things happening in Iraq---yet the Army man could only mention one. The wife said she just knows it will turn out fine in Iraq because she's an Army wife and hears things that don't get into the media. Tweety just shrugged at her ridiculous statement and didn't Hardball her at all.

11. If he were a real newsman, then
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 10:00 PM by madaboutharry
he would remain neutral rather than doing a shape shifter act from one day to the next. Years ago, when newsmen and journalists understood their role in society, you would never know ones political views. I have no respect for him.

4. Can you picture the Today Show from Baghdad?
Laura Ingraham is a complete idiot. She thinks the insurgents/terrorists/Iraqis are trying to get on the US media now? Just think of the background shots with the "Today Show - Live From Baghdad."

12. I think Hannity and O'Reilly and Cavuto and Hume, et al. should go.
I want to see FuxNews broadcasting from Baghdad with all this good news for just as long as we have troops there.

9. The turning point for Tweety (aka Sybil)? Well,

He's like a Brokeback Host. He wishes he could find a way to quite Dubya, but he jus' cain't.

10. chris matthews needs to decide which side of the fence he wants to be on.
i was switching back and forth tv channels tonight--but the parts or snippets i heard from him, he sounded like he was looking for any, just any, possible excuse, to excuse the bush bastard and help him regain some of his high poll numbers.

some of the questions that matthews asks are just pure, plain and simple, idiotic, if not moronic.

17. translating *bush
operation " :) Talk" didn't work - attacking strawmen didn't work

so what's left? Attack the media

That Iraq is a mess has nothing to do with a lack of planning? The bushies are not responsible.

It's all the fault of the media.

If you have followed bush*'s speech over the past week(basically the same one every day)- whether he's attacking the strawmen or the media - he's denying responsibility.

If you take it all and shove it through a translation machine - what he's really saying is his approval numbers are in the toilet, and it's the media's fault

this recent flurry of appearances are no more than a PR blitz to boost his approval numbers and lengthen his coat tails so GOPers have something to grab onto

18. Is this what Sam Sedar was talking about this morning?
I got in the car an hour ago and he was playing clips of Tweety simply going off on Bush lies. Where was this? On Mathews' show? Or some other show???
