8. My Left Nutmeg
Senate Race
U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman gets a 63 - 25 percent approval, unchanged from January 11. By a 63 - 26 percent margin, including 69 percent of Republicans, Connecticut voters say Sen. Lieberman deserves to be reelected.
Lieberman would defeat former Gov. Lowell Weicker 62 - 21 percent.

In a possible Democratic primary, the incumbent beats businessman Ned Lamont 68 - 13 percent

"Liberal Democrats unhappy with Sen. Lieberman's position on the war can't find much good news in this poll. While Lieberman continues to be more popular with Republicans, he still enjoys a job approval rating of nearly 2-1 among Democrats, and 61 percent of Democrats think he deserves to be re-elected," Dr. Schwartz said.

If you really want to change... you need to start from Joe Lieberman! Let me tell you this, momentum will grow for Lamont! Speak the truth, people will follow!

11. Yeah Lamont's campaign might grow from 30 to 60 people
:sarcasm:

Lieberman is not the problem Rainscents, Bush and the Republicans are. Concentrate on them.

12. There is nothing wrong with challenging Lieberman
I do think DUers need to accept the fact that democrats like the Nelsons and Lieberman are much more popular than we care to admit. Personally, I think CT should be able to have a dem that is more progressive than Lieberman, but he does have good approval ratings.
