Next Bush Cabinet appointment?

Or maybe just an appointment to head the Faith Based Initiatives boondoggle. Hey, he is a Christian, the smile makes me believe he's not an Amurrica-hating defeatist, and it was only the Afghanis who declared him "unfit."

3. Sometimes
devout muslims have a mark on their forehead from praying a lot (forehead touching carpet 5 times a day).
For instance Zawahiri has a mark like that (but bin Laden doesn't).

But this guy's a christian so probably doesn't apply unless christians in that part of the world pray in a similar way.

5. He's innocent. He's not a Christian. He's still a Muslim
masquerading as a Christian, for whatever unknown reason (some reports claim that he is insane).
Through my initial investigation, and it is as plain as the nose on your face, the evidence shows that this man is still praying like a Muslim.
He has the classical sign of rugburn on his forehead, the stigmata of a devout Muslim.
Case closed.

8. The problem is that these Islamists are so fanatical
that they are unable to master the ins and outs, or the give and take of politics. There is no compromise. It's my way or the highway. If they don't like the way things are going, they leave and take their political football home.

4. He'd just gotten back from...
...a masquerade ball in which he'd dressed as Gorbachev.

6. Say what you want but he risked death rather than renounce Christianity
And its not like problem is going away. They just aren't killing this particular guy. Nothing stops them from killing the next Christian.
