Iran could have the bomb within 3 years

According to diplomatic sources familiar with the situation, Iran is ramping up its uranium enrichment facilities, which means that it could have a bomb within three years, and not the five to ten years many experts said earlier.
I wonder if this will make the Bush administration more eager to go after Iran? what about Israel? They said Iran will never have a bomb. Could we see a military strike on the Iranian facilities within 6 months? Could there be an "October surprise"?

nuclear ambitions. The greatest casualty in the Iraq war is arguably credibility. No doubt when people express scepticism about the latest urgent reports of the rush for a bomb in Iran there will be a pyrotechnic display of outrage from the administration, although the blame for their lack of credibility lies squarely with the Bush government they will most probably allocate blame at every quarter apart from the one that deserves it.
