Her political ideas and actions are not being discussed here--her body and possible actions are being used to malign her entire person, and if she were a man, this would not be happening.

they call Hillary every name in the book and her daughter and they comment on Nancy Pelosi looks etc, we need to fight fire with fire:evilgrin:

is that your flamethrower isn't any more of a smart munition than what we're dropping in Iraq. Part of it lands on Harris, I suppose, if she happens to read DU, which I doubt. The bulk of your flames land on every DU woman who might be considering a run for office, just as it does when people laugh at a political figure's wife for having a large ass, or for not looking like a model in general.

Why beat up on the self-esteem of anyone here that has integrity and wisdom, but also has big breasts or a large backside or too many curves or not enough curves? Why make that part of the war?

If the right mocks a democratic woman's looks, why is it an appropriate response to call one of their women a skank, or a whore, or a bitch, or even talk about her chest? All you're doing is reinforcing the idea that ANY woman who runs for office should expect her opponents to demean her based on her sex and physical appearance.

Seriously, you all need to step back and think about what you're trying to accomplish, and then consider what the actual affects of your war are likely to be.
