Media Research Center

The Media Research Center's mission is to bring balance and responsibility to the news media. The MRC was founded on October 1, 1987 by a group of young, determined conservatives headed by L. Brent Bozell III who set out to not only prove — through sound scientific research — that this bias exists, but also to neutralize its impact on the American political scene.

NewsBusters.org is a project of the MRC's News Analysis Division, led since 1987 by MRC Vice President for Research and Publications Brent Baker. This should be the model. Intensive, exaustive reaearch, combined with compliant, sycophantic media...

calcualted dishonesty. Their dishonesty requires a focus and a commitment which manifests in a web of convincing misinformation. That blog shows up in google news. Google "Helen Thomas" and "flowers".
As does CNSNews, which is connected to these guys and I expect to see something from them on this soon enough.

Dems are getting better at creating a good cyberspace presence though. Of course there's this place, but this is primarily a forum which gets limitted respect in the mainstream. I'm seeing more dem sites that mimic professional news sites. Maybe a little dishonest, to be fair, but you have to compete and the content is 100% truer! And similar con sites still outnumber the Dems 10 -1.

You'll get no argument here about the dishonesty - it's legendary.. and effective.
