55 US Ambassadors & Diplomats Endorse Clark
Couldn't make it to the meet-up, so I'll post some postive Clark stuff tonight. :)

Fifty-Five U.S. Ambassadors And Diplomats Endorse Clark
Little Rock - Fifty-five former U.S. ambassadors and diplomats, women and men who have served in some 36 countries during the last four administrations, believe that Wesley K. Clark is the right choice to lead America at this critical time in the world.

"Serving as representatives of the United States has allowed each of us to meet with world leaders and see what terrific leadership looks like," said Cynthia Schneider, Ambassador to theNetherlands and co-chair of Ambassadors for Clark. "We know that the world is more interconnected than ever before, and so the impact of good and bad leadership impacts Americaand the world more than ever before. Wes Clark appreciates that and ambassadors understand the interconnectedness of the world and the critical need for a new leader to repair and strengthen our global ties."

"I am thrilled by the endorsement of those that have the respect of world leaders on every continent," Wesley Clark said. "They understand the importance of rebuilding America's alliances and restoring our country to a position of leadership based on cooperation and respect."

Ambassadors and Diplomats for Clark grew out of the unique phenomena of the Draft Wesley Clark movement. Not only did Wes Clark receive encouragement to run from thousands of individuals from across the U.S., the letters of support came from people, both U.S. citizens and citizens of many other nations, who understand that Wes Clark is the person we need to lead America at this crucial moment in history. Here's my note

Chris Matthews & Jack Cafferty, I know you don't think Clark is worthy of discussing during your shows. Fortunately 55, count them Fifty - Five US Ambassadors and Diplomats think otherwise. Good thing they aren't listening to you. We might just get the right guy in the White House afterall. U WES A!

20. Let's see, we got, 55 ambassadors, men and women on the diplomatic
front lines every day. They collectively want Clark to be President.

Hummmmm, these people aren't sittin around thinking about being diplomats and ambassadors, they are doing the whole diplomat and ambassador thing.

They think Clark is the bestto lead us as President.

:WOW: IF that doesn't say anything! I don't know what does!

24. This IS Excellent
The only caveat is we need to seperate out the political appointees from the career diplomats in that list . . . Most of the big name country ambassadors are political, meaning they are friends of the campaign or past Dem party donors.

25. Sigh
Too bad this couldn't have happened a week earlier so it could have made it to the press and filtered down to the voters of the 7 states who are voting tomorrow.

This is truly awesome but will this be too late to matter? Damn, the timing of this almost makes me cry.

26. Our local Lt-Col. who is a Clark volunteer told us that when he
used to visit the Pentagon, he heard a lot of positive things about Clark, Shelton be damned. And, apparently, even while he was still serving, lot of people wanted him for run for President someday.

31. First name PNAC signer- That one needs to go.
Edited on Tue Feb-03-04 01:33 AM by Tinoire
Morton Abramowitz is a PNAC writer to Bush.

http://www.newamericancentury.org/hongkong-20021126.htm

James Rubin is just as upsetting. He's the guy who spun for Madeleine Albright when she said that it was ok for 500,000 million Iraqi children to die from 8 year's worth of sacntions & starvation under Clinton and later accused the UN World Health organization of "exaggerating" when they documented that 1 million children were either dead or dying from same sanctions.

He also, immediately after Sept 11, penned a bunch of articles for world papers trying to get our allies on board saying "it is not retribution, it's pre-emption". "I do not think you will find a shred of difference between Democrats and Republicans over what the US government should do next.". http://www.guardian.co.uk/wtccrash/story/0,1300,551067,00.html

Those 2 names just leapt out.

Congratulations on some of the fine endorsements Clark has gotten but those two are alarming. Especially Abramowitz.

I like your Native American endorsements much better- they carry much more weight with some of us and I'd be damn proud of those. I'm sure you are- rightfully so.
