Delay Supporters Crash Democrat's Event
It takes a real good Christian to attack a 69 year old woman!

SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Supporters of U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay protested at an event Thursday held by the Democratic candidate for the congressman's seat, and the event quickly dissolved into a shouting and shoving match. Police were called, but made no arrests.

"I got pushed. I got hit. I got a sign wadded up in my face and my hat pulled down over my eyes," said Marsha Rovai, 69, a supporter of Nick Lampson. "They just did it to be nasty."

4. You may be right....
although I haven't seen this behavior demonstrated anywhere but Texas. Yet. They breed a particularly vile and disgusting strain of Republicans in Texas. Let's just hope it doesn't spread.

5. a caller on cspan this morning (cant remember if it was 1 or 2)
said the same thing in the context of giving amnesty to illegals. Said thats what
'his friends' thought would happen if they were allowed to take our jobs (his words). And he was from Virginia. I was blown away.

and let me assure you that we are organized and we are not going to put up with this nonsense!!

I live not too far from where this happened. Lampson has terrific supporters, $2 million in the bank, a fantastic campaign staff and we ALL need to get behind him.
