Flabbergasted. You asked me why we on the left are so cynical. What else would an intelligent, rational person be after all the crimes and dirty secrets and lies that these scumbags have already gotten away with - right in our faces. I don't know about you, but it does tend to make a lot of us cynical.

into the US as we speak/type. Need some sort of diversion.

A swan found dead in Scotland has tested positive for the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu.
The Scottish Executive has extended surveillance zones in Scotland to include 175 properties with 3.1 million birds, as well as free-range poultry.

13. We ARE smiling, but just smiling. It's too soon to celebrate...yet.
Things are getting worse each week. Every time I get depressed because the Pubs seems to have dodged yet another granade, another bomb hits them. It certainly won't be too soon, but even a lot of small bombs do a lot of damage if there's enough of them.

The Pubs are sinking in their own XXXX and they know it. If they didn't try to fight back, they'd be dumber than we all think they are, but even the best spinners in the world can only do so much! It's not working anymore and they know it.

It's too soon to celebrate, but it sure is time to sit back and enjoy the show for a while!
