2. Actually I'm glad they didn't come to any kind of agreement
before their break. And it's simply because * expressed his wishes they they do pass something before leaving for 2 weeks. This just goes to show the senate is not going to readily bend over for him anymore.

This guest worker thing is bullshit, and the "compromise" they reached yesterday is laughable. The provisions would be impossible to enforce. We should not be institutionalizing a class of indentured, invisible workers who will have no rights, thus driving down wages for all Americans.

Yes, I would prefer that people enter the country legally. I say this, of course, living in the security of a country that had its beginnings wrapped up in an immigration problem itself.
