Then whose responsibility is it to fix the wagon?

Can the farmer stand there with his hands on his hips and accuse his neighbor of not having a solution of how to fix it?

This seems to be what the Republicans are doing to the Democrats? They had a perfectly fine wagon and all four wheels were operating perfectly when they took over the farm. But they overloaded the wagon with hay and manure and the right wheel fell off. Now they stand there with their hands on their hips and say, "The Democrats don't have any solutions".

Well, first of all, maybe they need to unload the manure and pick the wagon up off the ground and fix the wheel. They broke it and they need to fix it. It is not the Democrats that broke the wagon. Then the Republicans need to turn the wagon back over to more responsible drivers that can haul away the manure in much smaller loads...

5. Arlen Specter blamed Democrats for the immigtation bill vote:
"It's not gone forward because there's a political advantage for Democrats not to have an immigration bill," said Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter, R-Pennsylvania.

He said Democrats perceive a benefit in having only a GOP-written House bill that criminalizes being an illegal immigrant. That bill has prompted massive protests across the country, including a march by 500,000 people in Los Angeles last month.

Yep...it certainly sounds like it's ALL OUR FALT, and we're ENJOYIN' IT...BITE me, Arlen.

7. I like this metaphor. Makes the point simply and clearly
and provides an easy way to communicate the problem in a discussion with almost anyone.

People have demonstrated repeatedly that they LIKE metaphors and analogies that make a complicated issue easier to understand -- and therefore perhaps a bit easier to resolve.

Not to mention the fact that the wheels certainly DO seem to be falling off this criminal administration steadily and in more ways than one as time passes these days!....

8. According to repug farmers it's our responsibility.
"Can the farmer stand there with his hands on his hips and accuse his neighbor of not having a solution of how to fix it?"

Yes they sure can. They'll stand there and pitch a fit unless a government welfare check (farm subsidy)is issued to pay for it.

I can remember in '96 when the repugs were circulating the meme that there's less farmers now than when slick willy started. Hmmmm.....I wonder how many farmers there are now after having the crown dunce of conservatism in office all this time?
