Join members of the American Federation of Government Employees in their informational picket of none other than John Ashcroft, former Attorney General of the United States.

John Ashcroft, Former Attorney General of the United States will be Keynote Speaker at Skyview High School 4/12/06 at 7:30 P.M. for WSU Vancouver's Fourth Annual Public Affairs Distinguished Lecture Series.  Ashcroft's lecture speech will be on the topic of "National Security and Civil Liberties in the 21st Century".
AFGE 11th District National VP, Gerald Swanke is organizing a picket/protest to greet Ashcroft and others so that we can bring to light the current risk of whistle-blower protection under the new and partially implemented National Security Personnel System. In addition, this picket will highlight the need for more funds for the Veterans Administration.
