Anybody here remember Dennis Kucinich?

Dennis VOTED against the war. I’m glad Kerry is speaking against the war, the
more the merrier.

Does that mean I want Kerry, Hillary, Clark or Gore as president in 08?

Absolutely not.

We need some new blood in 08.

The best idea WAS to let the inspectors search for WMD in Iraqi. That’s what
Dennis wanted.

NOW they want to hear what the Democratic ideas are!!!!

It’s like a child that didn’t listen to their parents advise, got mixed up in the wrong
crowd and now find themselves looking at prison time. Mommy, Daddy, what
is your advise now?

We need leaders with good judgement and they are not Kerry, Hillary, Clark or Gore.

1. I love Kucinich
And I wish we lived in a country that might elect him president. It probably wouldn't ever happen, but wouldn't it be nice? I really like the man's ideas.

What do you think it would take to get him in the running, with an honest shot at winning?

6. Given his history ….

The people of Ohio didn’t believe what he was telling them the first time around.

When he ran the second time, the people figured out that Dennis was telling them
the truth and the Company ( I forgot who) had duped them.

Given this track record he’s sure to win the presidency! HA HA, I know, wishful
thinking on my part but I think he should run nevertheless.

DK has been right about the course of American politics since the beginning of the Bush presidency. He's one of the few who have consistently shown good judgement in Congress. I'll take one DK over a clone army of Kerrys and Hillarys anyday!

If you have a President in office who wants peace, he can direct the State Department to implement policies which will encourage peace. If you have a President who wants war, he will simply direct the Department of Peace to implement policies which promote war. No wonder so few took Kucinich seriously.

4. Dennis was for all the right things...I voted for him.
Corporate media has everybody brainwashed...that we can't have someone that is for all the right things as president. They've made people believe we have to vote for the one who's more towards the center. Bullshit! Vote for the one who is standing up for what's right.

5. He has been very vocal
from day one. He is consistent and IMO always right regarding this maladministration. The sad thing is that we get posts here about what he is saying and doing and they make it to the greatest page but when people talk about the courageous Dems he often gets left out. I don't understand that at all but it seems to be the way it is.

He is one tough man and he will not stop speaking truth. I am very proud to have caucused and worked for him and would again in a heartbeat.

are actually quite nice right now.

So you made a big move. Lovely area. I don't know when that happened but I hope you are all settled.

Kucinich/Clark together? I have always wondered about that. Would it work? They are similar in quite a few ways, both seem to be able to work with people who are not clones of themselves but are their differences enough to keep them from working well together? Dunno, I never really thought about it enough.

Stay or leave, it’s going to be F#%ked up at this point.

I think if we stay, it’s going to be MORE F#%ked up.

So a Kucinich/ Clark ticket wouldn’t work.

Liberals who are convinced that their ideas can't win are Kucinich's worst enemy. McGovern was over 30 years ago people! Get over it!

If Kerry had voted against the war in Iraq and made loss of jobs due to bad trade agreements a major issue in Ohio, then he would have won. Kucinich is on the liberal, correct and more popular side of those issues.

And if you take out Hillary, I'd be proud to call any one of the rest president.

So let Dennis run again, if he thinks he can make it this time, and not have people forgetting who the little dude was (they were always forgetting poor Dennis and Braun, and sometimes even Gepherdt.)

Is he showing any signs that he might try again? A PAC, visits to NH and Iowa and such?

A Clark/Kucinich ticket would and could still be Fab!

"they" sure wouldn't be able to attack Dennis as "Weak on Defense" with Clark ontop of that ticket!

Kucinich as Prez of the Senate. Would love to see him go and kick those blueblood's Senatorial arses!

Great guy, really, but not a serious contender for the presidency as already demonstrated.

I'd bet the farm in a heartbeat on AL GORE, however. Or Clark.

19. I do. He's got my appreciation and support for the duration
of his career. I'll support him over any other Democrat out there in a heartbeat.

I have found no one in the Democratic Party who can match his combination of empathy, consistency, integrity, courage, commitment, voice, and positions on the issues. The mainstream powerbrokers and "leaders" don't hold a candle to Dennis.

Just my opinion, of course.

20. Sherrod Brown voted against it, too
He was in agreement with his fellow NE Ohio Congressional Dems Kucinich and Stephanie Tubbs Jones.

It took a lot of guts to vote no on Iraq back then, but I'm proud of all Dems who did.

23. I hail Congressman Kucinich as a truth-teller & champion of
citizenship. He would make a worthy president, no question, and I could vote for him with my heart and mind.

I object to the negative assessment of Senator Kerry, Senator Clinton, General Clark, and Vice President Gore. All of these folks are also vital to the profile of the Democratic Party; each has a key role to play; any of them might be the next president; indeed, two of them have already been elected president.

If you're re-shuffling a baseball line-up, the last thing you want to do is remove the players hitting .300 or better with impressive on-base & RBI totals.
