Bush rocked by resignations

White House press secretary Scott McClellan and senior advisor Karl Rove have announced their resignation from the Bush administration.

"I have given it my all, sir," Mr McClellan told George W Bush outside the White House before a group of reporters.

He said he would stay on over the next two or three weeks to allow time for a transition to his successor, who has not yet been named.

Mr McClellan, who has been in the job more than 2 and a half years, has been one of the most visible faces of the Bush administration and replacing him will give the president the chance to put a fresh face on his White House administration.

What the----????? "Senior advisor Karl Rove..."??? What in the HELL does that first sentence mean?? I clicked all over this website trying to see if it was a parody site. I found no sign that it was.

Okay, I must've caught Bush Flu and my brain is going fast. Would someone please tell me why that first sentence is in there?

He sucked at domestic policy and they took it away from him.

8. I think that they have figured he will be invaluable to them in an

election year for heading up the smear campaigns against the Democratic candidates. That is something that KKKarl excels at. I think they made it sound like a demotion, but IMO it just frees him up to do more of the dirty work.

On sitting down this evening to read my usual websites, I note that the sites which would always call for the impeachment of Bush have now dropped that plea, and are calling for the COMMITMENT of Bush.
