Wow, frist wants bush to by god investigate oil companies
for price gouging. (Heard on CBS radio news this PM.) Imagine the conversation in the gop cloak room. "Mother fucking oil companies are killing us. We are gonna get our money laundering, insider trading asses handed to us in November Big Time. Between dumbfuck bush's incompetence and the dems sticking gas prices to us with gorilla glue we got to start whining for bush to fucking do something."

Yo bill, don't forget teri schiavo; you "conservatives" are gonna suffer for that fuck up as well.

1. As if the oil companies will ever be blamed while the republicans

are in complete control of this country and our wonderful one-party system.

Do you think it might be all about image and posturing to fool voters again... in that the republicans pretend to actually care about people and not only their beloved, lustful & insatiable greedy corporations that republicans would sell their own mother and children out for another corporate handout...

2. No doubt about it
The week after Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast every elected republican in Louisiana and Mississippi became compassionate democrats urging a large and liberal government respose to their state's woes. Republicans are scum and so are their supporters.

3. Play-acting for the cameras
Frist will take his kickbacks from Exxon, Chevron and the rest to fill up his campaign coffers and then go out in front of the cameras so that he can look populist. But unlike Terri Schiavo, there won't be any emergency legislation, and no calling Stupidhead back early from vacation for the millions of Americans getting gouged by Big Oil. The deeds won't match Frist's words at all, but his GOP faithful won't notice that at all. As Lincoln said, you can indeed fool some of the people all of the time.

8. Frist means to do a "Pat Roberts" style investigation ....
Form a committee, report you are doing something, and do nothing.

10. Thats a load of crap, they could enforce the royalty agreement making
oil companies actually pay the royalties from off shore oil profits. They aren't. This is crap!

11. I think they are just looking for a chance to tell us that there is
nothing wrong going on. It is a political move. They already know what they are going to find out. They will sit all the oil execs down and ask them one at a time. "Are you gouging the consumer?" "Oh know says the oil man." "There see we investigated them and they are not price gouging." Just pay at the pump and vote for us.

14. What's troubling....isn't Frist the Majority Leader,?
so he should know gas prices aren't linked to Bush, but global supply and demand?
Afterall, China's ordering a brazillion gallons a minute?

This definitely trumps Schiavo's diagnosis.

But what the hey, let the voters think it's Bush's fault, thanks to idiot Frist :hi:
