Either somebody in the WH screwed up the timing very badly, or they had no choice but to do this today. And if they had no choice, you know the other shoe that's about to drop is huge.

Jeff Gannon would not be visiting Porter Goss in the White House. Who in the administration has a private office? There's your suspect list.

Gannon visited the White House like a hundred and ninety-seven times! And sometimes, he didn't sign out....

Not a word about PorterGate, Hookers, etc. The rest of the hour is being spent on poor Rep. Kennedy and his drug problem. The world is ending, the world is ending! I had heard that Negroponte might have asked Goss to step down. There could be several reasons for this, but chief in my mind would be that Negroponte, as the chief bigwig in charge of intelligence (read: spying), would have known who was involved in this scandal and therefore would know who to "encourage" to "resign."
