What are Republicans going to do about Bush? If his numbers get into the
20's and they lose seats in the 06 elections, what will they do with the one who is pulling them down - Bush.

We talk about if Democrats take over the Congress that we would impeach him naturally.

But what will the Republicans do. If he were the speaker - ala Newt Gingrich - and made the mistakes that really cost their party - they got rid of him in a hurry. But the President is different - what will they do with a pariah around their neck?

Just wondering.

2. I Still Say That Soon A Delegation Of Repugs Will Be Visiting The....
White House and ask * to resign (ala Nixon) or they will proceed to impeach him. I still think it is getting to that moment. They need to put * behind them - if they don't they will be over.

3. I was thinking the same thing. I don't believe it will happen with just
low numbers - I think it will take them losing big time in the elections. They don't care what the numbers are as long as they don't hurt THEM. They care more about their party than they care about the USA.

6. 'Tis indeed the only thing they can do at this point if they
want to salvage their base and what little creditability they have left.
