Scare tactics to protect the police state

This is what they do.
Example:
The latest round of NSA revelations.
I just heard, on The News Hour, that little twerp Repug (I forgot his name)go on and on about the more we talk about this the less safe we are.
He claimed that we are tipping off, to the terrorists, and therefore they will "adjust their tactics" as more is revealed.
:wtf:

You mean to tell me that talking about phone tapping and call number monitoring makes us "less safe"?
I am sure the terrorists didn't think we were doing that. :sarcasm:

Holy crap...do the Repukes think we are that stupid.
Is the mainstream that stupid?

...is classified.

Just like all your calling records. Those don't belong to you anymore either.

The NSA took your tax money and purchased them from the telcos you pay for phone service.

And the NSA is tapping fiber so your Internet communications are also now classified.

Everything you've ever done is classified, and you have no rights to your past.

The only thing not classifed is what you do next.

6. No court would allow evidence from an illegal search anyway

No warrant, no use in court.

This program is about domestic spying on political opponents. Maybe they want to know who has been calling Cindy Sheehan, so they can be surveilled and harrassed. Worse than Nixon and twice as f'ing crazy.

I keep hearing that this started before 9/11, so it isn't about terra anyway.

There was a lady on Real Time once (I forget who she was), anyway.........she said, if our govt thinks that terrorists don't know their calls are not monitored, it's no wonder they haven't caught more terrorists!!

Terrorists have known for years that their calls have been monitored and talking about it is not telling them anything they didn't already know before!!
