1. I wasn't aware that ASL could be sung
Danced, yes; I've seen that (a remarkable deaf troupe some years ago that did what could be described as operatic modern dance.) But sung? No.

7. well
i would call it signed poetry. There are some amazing Deaf poets (although you have to have at least a basic knowledge of sign to understand their point)

3. The US GOVERNMENT itself commissioned the Anthem in
Spanish right around WWI! This whole thing is just beyond stupid.

Local radio played a version sung in Din`eh (Navajo) last week. The singer was wonderful, one of the best versions of that tune I've ever heard.

Honestly, if they want an official version, why not from the folks who were already here when the Mayflower landed?

8. Comedian Paul Rodriguez told about sharing an elevator...
With some Japanese businessmen. Who were speaking to each other--in Japanese.

He said he had to restrain him self from saying: "You're in America. Speak Spanish!"

4. Is that "The National Anthem" by...
...Radiohead off Kid A? Excellent song, but I don't know if it would be quite the same in Spanish...plus I doubt Thom Yorke speaks Spanish!

:sarcasm:
