Bush, 2005: 'I don't want you reading my personal stuff.'
Just a happy reminder:

15th April 2005
The Register, UK

Bush made the admission on Thursday to the American Society of Newspaper Editors during a discussion centring on whether the US government is sufficiently forthcoming to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act, Reuters reports.

snip

Bush says it's a personal privacy issue: "I don't want you reading my personal stuff," he admitted, adding: "There has got to be a certain sense of privacy. You know, you're entitled to how I make decisions. And you're entitled to ask questions, which I answer. I don't think you're entitled to be able to read my mail between my daughters and me."

But HE can listen to our calls, read our e-mail, open first-class mail, and gather infinite amounts of personal data about us, using NSA supercomputers and our own telecommunications systems against us?

Mr. Bush, your mandate is a figment of your imagination.

Turn around. We The People are coming.

10. That photo didn't go w/ the story, but the sentiment is there.
That fake concern, leaning forward on the lectern, arms extended w/ palms up, neck disappearing, wrinkly forehead, voice several octaves too high, and that creepy smirk.... yech.

The stench of disgust rising like road kill in August.
