I think that they really don't much care what the polls show because they've accomplished what they set out to do which is to start the wars and rape the treasury. I think that they think they will remain in power for a long time to come. I don't know what they are planning but I can't see them willingly giving up power and going quietly into the night. Though they have made a bundle of money for themselves.

My hope is that Cheney will be sitting in his house somewhere counting all the money he's made for himself and then his ticker goes out on him and his daughter inherits it and gives it to gay causes.
