Like the Iraq speech tour, and the SS speech tour, the handlers think that the US has to give Bush the benefit of the doubt when we think he's putting a lot of time into speechifying for it. It's a variation of "he wants it a lot, ergo, he should get it because He's President." Fuck that.

This has only been floated to distract us from the real issues of the day. I refuse to believe the issue of immigrants, legal or otherwise, trumps NSA data mining, the collapse of governmental talks in Iraq, the deteriorating economic situation, or the endemic corruption being exposed daily. This is yet another Roverism, intended to galvanize their base to get to the polls. As important as it may be, immigration is not the issue we need to focus on today. It only serves one illegal at this time, the guy squatting in our White House.
