FL Senate race update
It's getting a bit crowded

By JEREMY WALLACE

jeremy.wallace@heraldtribune.com

Four Republicans, including the son of a former Florida Governor, have jumped into the race for the U.S. Senate, challenging Longboat Key Republican Katherine Harris for the GOP nomination.

LeRoy Collins Jr, the son of ex-Gov. LeRoy Collins; Pinellas county developer Peter Monroe; Orlando-area Republican Will McBride and Tampa resident Belinda Noah all qualified for the race just an hour before the noon filing deadline on Friday struck.

6. I hope she wins just to spite them now.
You bet ole Jeb was on the horn getting these other people to qualify. Their numbers will still trail the Democrat. I bet a lot of people in Florida are tried of all this crap, being a pawn in the hands of that hick governor and his idiot brother.

The people of Florida are being treated like a bunch of dumb sh*ts by a hick governor and his idiot brother. They really ought to be insulted by this crap.

5. A lot will depend on what Jeb does
If he decide to throw his weight behind one of these guys, it will be a race between him and Harris. If not, harris will likely win with little trouble.
