Poll question: OH COME ON, We're not that stupid.
Edited on Fri May-12-06 01:09 PM by Brundle_Fly
CNN is all over the place, touting a new poll that American Citizens overwhelmingly think the new revelations, that the NSA is collecting a massive database of phone calls is okay. I wanted to find out what the ratio is here.

about who is invading their privacy.
And they sure as hell do not care about anyone else's rights!
Remember, you are talking about a group of people who sit next to you on public transportation and discuss their intimate lives at the top of their lungs on their cell phones.

should I stop by macdonalds and get a coma inducing amount of pure grease on the way.

you're damned straight americans are out of it.... the media, food & drug companies, and government are all in on making it work that way.

4. The Poll is probably skewed
There isn't enough information out for people to have much other than a visceral reaction. So, a pollster will write questions in such a way as to make it look like this spying can be done in a "reasonable" manner. If you frame the question in the most positive light you will get a different response than if you were to pose the question thusly:

"Would you support the Government's right to use information gained without a court order to influence popular support of controversial programs"?

14. again the media is distorting the story
saying that is it wonderful that citizens think it's a wonderful idea.

it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and this administration will make it look like we want it.
