than 10,000 Border Patrolmen? My bets are still on the ingenuity of the Mexicans.
We didn't do too well with Pancho Villa and we aren't doing too well with pacifying
Iraq. Is Bush now saying that the real threat is Mexican immigrants and not the terrorist pressure cooker that he's created in Iraq?

The ignorance of this is truly astounding.

1. BushCo want us to get used to...
...the routine use of the military against civillians on American soil. That way, we won't be so surprised when he turns the guns on us.

2. sadly, I believe you are right. the bird flu pandemic thing didn't "fly"
(sorry, couldn't help myself) in using the military to control the populace--but this should do just fine.

3. Don't be so silly.
He is sending the 10,000 troops to recruit new soldiers. Offer them citizenship for a year in Iraq. Get one family member citizenship for each additional year spent in any one of *Co's wars.

to beef up the Border Patrol.

It's all show.

Edit: and all hell breaks loose when the first border crosser is killed by a GI...

6. Yup...When that happens, so much for The Good Neighbor
Policy. After trashing our Middle Eastern policy, Bush will do the same with our Latin American policy.

7. He can't even imagine the scenario just like he saw cheers and roses
coming from the residents of Baghdad.

:scared:
