Dean: "Anyone is better than GW Bush."
He just said it on CNN. He also said he will vote for whoever the Dem nominee is...he just hopes it is him. Can this put to rest the ideas that he will split off the party or fight all the to the convention. He supports the party and will support our nominee even he is not that person.

ABB

4. I Never Had Any Doubt
While anybody who runs for President HAS to have a rather large ego (or in pres. moron's case, a rather large beer mug), I never thought that Dean would bolt the party if not nominated. He is a smart man who knows that the common adversary is the current resident.

I have always felt that we would be united against the smirk/sneer ticket.

7. Sorry, Howard, but after what they did to you - 'can never forgive or
forget. The Democratic party and I, a 40 year "member", are no longer together.

9. I'm sorry to hear that
What exactly did "they" do to Howard? He, at least, has his eye on the big picture.

8. Dean is a classy fellow.
How will the media spin this one without repeating what he said? I love it! He's got them coming and going.

Go, Dean! :toast:

10. I'm more worried about Deans supporters
bolting the party or just sitting it out just for payback. Maybe I'm going too far - but some Dean supporters seem really bitter.

11. Funny, but Howard Dean is coming off a lot classier and realistic

than a lot of his supporters. Never, for one minute, did I ever doubt that Dean would support whoever the nominee turns out to be. He is not my candidate, but I think his remark shows a lot of class and a true concern for this country and the democratic party. Bravo Dr. Dean.

edit: I'm having one of those senior moments when it comes to spelling skills.

13. Ahh yes, if you can't beat on the candidate, beat on the supporters
F*ck y'all. Thanks for the sentiment and you wonder why some of us are bitter.

Well, we are going to vote. We are going to haunt the party and through our numbers affect change from the ground up.
