Aspens, Worms, and Weasels

Way back when, we heard about Aspens, and underground joins .... and turning.

And we all know that worms turn.

My question tonight:

Do weasels also turn?

I'm talking about he weasels who provide the valuable service of delivering fair, honest, unfiltered news to the citizens of America.

Let's assume, for the sake of this discussion, that Jason Leopold and Truthout are correct and stipulate that their story about Rove's having been indicted is true. Leave the Leopold debates for another thread.

Will the weasels turn?

The weasels like Fat Timmy Potatohead, and Tweety Matthews, and Brit Hume and Mike Wallace's bastard son. Weasels like Leslie and Paula and Regular Joe. Weaselly wascals like Katie and Soledad, Matt and Tucker.

And all the rest.

Now that it is perfectly clear to everyone that not only have two very high level White House insiders been indicted for crimes while in office, but the central, and as yet unindicted, crime is the outing of a CIA operative - a NOC, no less. That's a crime right next to treason. And the criminals we so far know about are at least the equals of Haldeman and Ehrlichmann.

That there is a cancer on the presidency could not be clearer. Even the luddites in the back woods of Minnesota and Montana know about it.

Will the weasels now turn? Or, better yet, will they, too, be on a descendancy as their honest brethren come to the top?

Could it be that the weasel di tutti weasels corporate media whoremasters, seeing their gravy train derailed, allow for the honest dissemination of news in an effort to curry favor with the very party and the very candidates and the very elected officials they worked so hard to marginalize?

Worms and aspens always turn.

Is the same true for weasels?

Last night I saw the movie 'Poseidon'.

I think that they are are running abeam of a tsunami, and they are about to get rolled, almost all of them will join the captain in the grand ballroom for the great inversion.

And when the boat points its stern to the heavens, they will all be singing 'nearer my God to thee' in mustelese.

In short, most of the weasels are going to drown.
