I`m leaning toward believing based on my gut reaction to what I`ve read here and elsewhere. It`s the same feeling I had before Bush announced he was going to invade Iraq. I kind of knew it was coming so I wasn`t waiting for Wolf Blitzer`s report highlighted with lively bombing graphics.

Fitz is a juggernaut and I've no doubt that he'll come down with something on someone, and it'll be sooner rather than later. If he leaked like a sieve we'd have it easy. He doesn't. It's a remarkable thing.

I agree with your sentiments completely, and am already wondering what the outcome will be even if this is true. At best, we kick Cheney out of office and into stripes. There are hundreds more where he came from. I think that Cheney and a few others, like Rumsfeld, are in de facto control of America, and that the shrub in the WH is just a public face. Cheney will still have power galore even if removed and convicted. The ONLY hope we have is fair elections and a real democratic victory in November.

HOWEVER, there are those among us who are eternal optimists, idealists. There are those who are battle scarred and need every little bit of hope. So let thsoe people have this time to dream and hope and heal, and let the sceptics among us go on with our business.
