Bill Clinton to Write New Book
Bill "The Last Legally Elected President" Clinton has struck a deal to write another book. After writing an autobiography that sold millions of copies, Clinton's new work will focus on public service and individual citizen activism, telling a story that he hopes will "lift spirits" and "touch hearts," the former president said in a statement Wednesday.

His inspiration for the second book, expected for release late next year or early 2008 (in time for the Presidential election and with Clinton nostalgia in full swing), was borne from the experiences he has had during his work and travel in the six years since he left the White House, Clinton said. It does not yet have a title.

"We all have the capacity to do great things like this, and I am writing this book to encourage others to join their ranks," Clinton said. "My hope is that the people and stories in this book will lift spirits, touch hearts and demonstrate that citizen activism and service can be a powerful agent of change in the world."

Clinton will discuss "the most substantive issues of our time."

4. I'm not discounting his goodness, but question his
allegiance. Where has he been, on anything? Previous presidents, especially well-respected ones, should have a right to express themselves, or even a duty to do so.
Chirp chirp.

5. It'll probably be times to come out
just as the primaries are about to start. Just in time to remind us whose wife Hillary is. And, to remind us of the ever-implicit "twofer" we'll get with that one vote.

It's genius, pure and simple...

6. I wonder what he means by activism
Clinton has been involved in public service for his entire life, but I can't think of any activist type stuff he ever did.

None of that would have mattered if Slick had kept his Willie in his pants

But let me make it clear: If Clinton hadn't fed the Reich Wing all of
that great anti-Clinton material, there's no doubt that Gore would
have walked away with the election of 2000, Nader or no Nader.

But Clinton couldn't control himself and his urges so he ended
up essentially handing the election to Bush.
