6. does anyone listen to air america show on sundays called "state of belief"
our own bettyellen is part of the group getting this show on the air
please support it by listening and if you have any comments or feedback please let them know

very important to raise our voices in all ways to combat the hard and hate-filled right

i dont think she has really said much about it online of late (im sure shes been busy with this project)
but i wanted to make sure to post about her involvement and encourage support

17. to clarify i'm not officially working on it but this is a very important
edition of the show and I knew it would be of interest here at DU.
i know one of the producers a long time and so had heard a great deal about this episode.
the IRD stuff is shocking to me, so I had to to post about it.
i may well be working with them on a project marketing the show, but not just yet.
tks for the interest, and if you have any feedback, trust me, they would love to hear it.

14. Got God? Which one have you got?
I assume that most of you saw this Doonesbury on Saturday, May 20.



I think we need to confront the people who've been defining God as the "Big Neocon in the Sky" with this dichotomy pretty much just like it's portrayed in Doonesbury.

"Uh. Which God are we talkin' about? The loving, inclusive compassionate God who's on the side of peace and social justice or the angry, intolerant God who hates gays and who told Bush to invade Iraq?"
