Who is a worse Bushco shill.......Tweety or Russert?
My pick is Russert. I can not stand that smarmy smiling prick.

4. It's pretty much a toss up, but if I have to chose, it's Tweety.

7. Tweets does the more outrageous kiss-ups but Timmie rarely
asks a real question.

Russert lets hamburgers (fat pitch, whatever you want to call it) coast right by and gives his guests the right-of-way.

I have a 9th-grade education (if that, seriously) and could do a better job than that tool.

Actually, I (on reflections fom another glass of wine) say, feckemall.

14. Oh ...
put a D in front of him, and he goes to work ... He will dog a D on all the right wing issued talking points like a nazi interogater, then let most Rs coast ... Every now and then, in a pretty blatent attempt to fake some "balance" he will grill a down and out R ... But, he nails 90 percent of the Ds, 10 percent of the Rs ...

5. Sorta like the time the Irish man was asked
if he wanted to be executed by hanging or shooting. They are both useless pricks, although tweety has shown some ratings consciousness, from time to time, recently.

6. They are both absolutely horrible.
Matthews is a total two-face, so my vote goes for him. He'll go with whatever's popular.

9. Matthews
I haven't heard Russert refer to Bush's "sunny nobility" or get aroused by the phony in the flight suit.

22. Exactly! I can't stand either of those tools,
but Tweety's "this president has an air of sunny nobility" bullshit was unbelievable. And as a native of the Cleveland area (no longer there, thank God), I got really sick of the "hero worship" lavished on Russie (a native of Shaker Heights, an inner suburb of Cleveland) and how anyone who dared to say otherwise was pounced on.

13. aha! a perfect justification for 'trial by ordeal'
put both tweets and old man russert's horrible punk kid in a vat of boiling oil and....hmm, that won't work....put both of them in the freezing sea off kamchatka when the hammer sharks are feeding....hmmm, that might be too harsh....put both tweets and russert in a cage with hungry lions...no, no, put them on one side of a busy freeway, with a grenade tied to them and the safety pin just a hundred feet away through hurtling metal(?)
drop bags of cement on them from 20 ft(?)
shootem outta cannons(?)
geez this is harder then i thought....

16. Russert is worse.
More people have caught on to Tweety, who has actually become a cartoon figure, and Russert is in a position to do much, much greater harm.

17. Matthews is more annoying, but occasionally spitspays on GOPers too
Russert used to be a pretty good journalist, but has gotten lazy, comfortable, and rich. He's useless.

18. Russert has the foundation of the time honored MTP from which to re-
-gergitate the right-wing talking points that are faxed to him every Sunday morning from Cheney's office. That makes him more dangerous as his pulpit has historically been considered tough journalism. It is a shame that he was so easily and completely bought off. He does not even attempt unbiased journalism anymore.

History will not look favorably on him or his cohorts who disguised themselves in journalistic clothes as they walked the citizens they blinded to the edge of fascism.

25. Russert is the big boss.
He is the one who takes the calls from corporate who take the calls from the WH. He then passes on the message of the day to all the others (Katie, Matt, Tweety, Joe, Norah, Tucker, Rita, Andrea etc.). Olberman and Gregory are not given the kool-aid because they provide a nice contrast, and Imus can always belittle them and make them sound less credible to his a.m. audience.
