My ruby red shoes got clicked out a long time. If wishes were horses and all that. As bad as I want it to be so, I refuse to have the rug pulled out from under me. No one scoops a story by more than a couple of hours. Nobody. A story breaks and then every one else jumps on it. I believed (well sort of believed) the story when it came out for about an hour. When nothing else came to the surface, I wrote it off as nothing more than all of the other "tide is turning, Bush is toast" stories that have had this site doing backflips for joy then crashing and burning for years.
I believed even the most outlandish good news when my son was dying of cancer. In the end, he died and all the good news was bullshit. In fact, I should have seen it as bullshit all along.
Bush is going down, Rove is getting indicted, show me the indictment, show me Fitz on TV. Backtracking, "24 Business" hours, OMG! They got to Fitz! Is bullshit.
Something must be done and hopefully Bush will be gone along with Rove and the rest of the gang before 2008, but wishing is not going to make it so. Putting all of our eggs in one basket is not a sound thing to do either.
