The DIXIE CHICKS were right all along - Please share that with your

"conservative" neighbors. You know the ones. They are too proud to admit that they were wrong. If anyone is opposed to the Chicks today, then they are for the continued slaughter of our troops in Iraq. Its really extremely plain and simple to this Veteran. Any lurkers want to set me (and the Chicks) straight?

And not only that, Bushbots equated the Chicks' statements against Bush as statements against our country. And I always say to that, "George Bush is not the United States of America!"

....but the dixie chicks seem to transcend mainstream country. their music is good, it's not at all like that manufactured, cookie-cutter, annoying, twangy country crap that the freepers love. but then again, the chicks are out of austin, not nashville...so they have a different style of music.

as much as i rag on texas (and believe me, texas needs to get it's shit together), there have been some great artists to come out of there including willie nelson, stevie ray vaughn, freddie king, to name a few.

6. I was damn lucky to buy their CD at Best Buy last night

at the special price of $9.99 - mine was the next-to-last one in stock!
They must have had a shitload of the CD's and they were all SOLD OUT in one night!!
