I have just figured out the Dem strategery for 2006 & '08!
I've been wondering why the Dems keep rolling over & playing dead, why they keep emitting, at most, ineffectual whimpers of protest, why they've taken impeachment off the table, why they can't seem to capitalize on aRepublican Party gone so batshit theat everyone knows it, why they watch election after election being stolen and do nothing about it, why they let themselves be mercilessly Swiftboated and vilified...

Migod, it's so simple, so obvious...

Bushco has made such a total disaster of everything--Iraq, the economy, the environment, SocSec, personal freedom,--EVERYTHING--that there is no way to fix it. Whoever tries is bound to fall into abysmal failure.

The Dems are much smarter than we ever thought. They know how bad things are, and they don't want to get stuck with an impossible job. The whole train is going over a cliff, and they see no point in fighting to get into the cab of the engine.

They just don't want the job. They are doing everything they can to lose the upcoming elections, thereby forcing the Puggies to retain power and responsibility for the great, unavoidable train wreck that will soon be upon us.

1. Yeah, plus those old boys in Congress and in leadership
positions are rich enough that they actually GOT the tax cuts, and they like those just fine.

Fixing the mess means making their own taxes go up, too.

8. What Good are Capital Gains Tax Cuts When there are No Capital Gains?
Most people, including most rich people, were making much more money when Clinton was President.

The exceptions to this rule are mostly those who are directly involved in looting the country with the acquiescence of the Bush** regime.

This is not capitalism, this is kleptocracy.

4. It's weird--I start out writing stuff like this, thinking it's just more
of my twisted humor, and by the time I finish the thought I end up scaring the shit out of myself.

6. Tough job ahead
Sadly they will end up doing it.
But they will have mad repuke trying their damn best to spin all the shit on the Dems

Maybe if your guys kick all the repuke out job be easier.

Somehow the republicans need to be part of the solutions. Either that or extinction.

7. There was a number of thought-provoking threads,
during the 2004 campaign with the idea of why in the hell Kerry would even want to be president, given that it was already fubar-ed so badly that there would be a long painful period to endure while getting the mess straightened out and turning the country into something that was remotely like the kinder views we would like to hold.
Awful job with a lot of disgruntled citizens unwilling to accept less than magic and miracles.
