The Convention should be in MINNEAPOLIS...

First, no state in the union has been as loyal to the Democratic party ticket than Minnesota. She is the only state to have voted the Democratic ticket in every Presidential election since 1972. And even that year, Minnesota was McGovern's second best state.

Second, Minnesota has been trending Purple over the last few years. As many citizens identify themselves as Republicans as do Democrats. There is a vast middle of independents that is growing.

There is an old sales adage that says it is easier to keep a client you already have then to get a new one. The midwest needs some attention, and Minnesota deserves to be recognized for its loyalty.

The last few times I have been there, I have been 'wow!'ed' by the city.

I am from Texas and am now living in the coolest part of the country (Tiburon,Marin County, CA), I don't care what you think.

But Minneapolis is way cool.
