I feel sorry for the poor Congress Critters.

Looks like, if they vote along the lines of making it easier for immigrants to come into the US, become citizens, etc., they'll piss off their non-Hispanic constituents.

I used to have a friend who liked to get liquored up and start picking fights. I knew his proclivities, and generally ignored him when he was in his cups. But people that didn't know him would get mad and belligerent, and find out something interesting: For all his bluster and alcohol-fueled bravado, he wasn't really a fighter. He backed down pretty quickly when challenged. Unfortunately, every now and then, he'd bug someone who really liked to fight. He generally wound up getting his ass pretty thoroughly kicked.

I don't know why I thought of Bob when I read your post, or why I'm boring the assembled masses of DU with a pointless story about a long-ago friend. Shrug.
