"If the election were held today... "
How many times do we hear this tired phrase leading up to an election. It's an attempt to determine how the actual election might turn out, barring any big event that turns the tide one way or the other. (It's also a good tool for the GOP to determine just how much help they're going to need from Diebold this time around, but that's for another post...)

But what if we were to ask such a poll question AFTER an election? Specifically, if the election were held today would you still vote the way you did, vote for someone else, or just not vote at all? With Chimp's poll numbers dropping and discontent seemingly going through the roof, it's still hard to gauge just how much support the Idiot-in-Chief has lost. But if you were to ask the "if the election" question of those who voted for him in '04, we'd have a pretty good idea of just how much regret their is out there.

Just a random thought at the beginning of a long weekend.

3. Ahhh, wisdom ya gotta love it!
True today. It would be stolen.

But thanks to an underground movement growing larger everyday, the chances of a stolen election come November are becoming smaller. We're not there yet, not quite.

But as we common citizens spread the facts, those sleeple who were once oblivious are now more educated than they ever were.

One thing we all can do, if you want to do your part, get thee to your local election office and play your part in democracy by informing the election officials found therein that you are on to the theft and want them to do the basic things necessary to ensure your vote is counted as cast, and that we'll have no more of this push-button, vote vaporizing, tech-no-logic system, with computer security holes large enough for a fat-cat republican to squeeze through.

(Don't use those words exactly, but use your own to let them know - You will never get over it!)
