State GOP distances itself from McGee school (NH phonejammer)
The Republican State Committee has “absolutely nothing to do with” a free GOP Campaign School being offered by a company that employs convicted phone-jammer Charles McGee, the state party chairman says.

...

McGee, convicted of conspiracy after pleading guilty to masterminding an Election Day 2002 illegal plan to jam Democratic and firefighters’ get-out-the-vote phone lines, is a vice president for Spectrum, which is sponsoring the event.

The New Hampshire Union Leader’s “Granite Status” column reported yesterday that McGee recently sent an email to “Friends and Fellow Republicans” urging them to attend. A flier attached to the email calls the school “a nuts and bolts boot camp” to give participants “all the tools you need to win.”

The Democratic National Committee yesterday ridiculed the school, but did not directly criticize the Republican State Committee.
