What will republicans do when they discover

through their internal polling data that hating homosexuals and hating immigrants won't be enough to maintain the senate and the house in 2006? They should get this info about August. War in Iran will sate the chickenhawks because there will be absolutely no sacrifice made by those cowardly bastards. More tax cuts?? Why not? The trash base of the party doesn't understand the ramifications anyway? Cabinet post for falwell? I so look forward to watching the party of ideas at work.

They are stoplossing JOs now! The implications are kind of dire for senior NCOs, IMHO! I readily admit to being able to find the downside in any situation, so perhaps I am just full of shit. But if they draft, the kids will certainly snap out of their "I get all my news from Jon Stewart an TDS" in a flash& start paying really close attention! Ya think?

4. My republican brother in law's son

was in the eighth grade when the war started. BIL was gungho for the war. Get in, get out, get on with our lives. His son will be a junior in high school in a few months. The family view of the war has changed dramatically. Draft in 2007 I believe is a must if these idiots continue down their current path. He is ruining our military and he is consistent. He will be talked out of doing it until after the 06 elections but it has to be on the gop table now. Their modus operandi is to fuck up everything they touch. This will be no different.

Under these kind of circumstances, I'm pretty sure there isn't any morale. If anyone was lucky enough to get out in one piece they are calling them back.

3. I've wondered about a "Secretary of Religion" for the cabinet.

Figured one of the wingnuts (Imhofe, Coburn, Burr, Frist, etc) would have proposed a bill by now. It would pass because Dems would cower in fear of being labeled "God-haters." Bush would no doubt appoint Falwell or Dr. Dobson. My choice would be Rev. Eugene Robinson - fat chance of that.
