My unoffical count of retired military bumper stickers
Today was an out-and-about for me. I had one meeting in Georgetown and then an early afternoon meeting that was hosted by my client at the ArmyNavyCountryClub in northern Virginia, about a mile and a half from Rumsfeld's Five Sided War Palace. Although no longer completely exclusive to retired military, they still make up the overwhelming majority of the membership, with the second largest group being the children of retirees.

A ride through the parking lot was pretty revealing. I saw one tatty, faded W04 oval and fourteen equally faded Kerry or Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers. I also saw two - count 'em - two Clark 04 stickers. One of the Clark 04 stickered cars carried a companion Clark 08 sticker! (They're out here already??) And then there was the winner. One car, an elderly Honda Civic that I suspect from its condition and age was owned by a college kid or a young adult, had a boatload of liberal type stickers. Maybe 10 or twelve of them ...... including ... tada .... a DEMOCRATICUNDERGROUND.COM sticker!

Alright .... Fess up ...... who was there today????? :)

2. For what its worth, the teevee in the men's grille was tuned to FOX
But the room was empty, empty, empty ... just the teevee and a bored, sleepy bartender.
