Bush shows up at fundraiser to find Maryland candidate has already flown
When President Bush showed up at a Baltimore-Washington International Airport hotel Wednesday night for a fundraiser for the Maryland GOP he found that the party’s top-of-the-ticket candidate already had boarded a plane and left town, Cox News blog reported Wednesday.

Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele, the party’s U.S. Senate candidate, joined the list of Republicans who had to be somewhere else when Bush came to town to raise money for the GOP.

Steele, instead, was at a fundraising event in Las Vegas.

1. Now that's interesting . . .
Who in Nevada would be interested in funding the campaign of the goniff who wants to be my next Senator? Unquestionably someone who has Maryland's best interests at heart . . .

3. Chow with Bush in Maryland vs. a night with donors in Vegas...
Hmm... now that's a tough one.

I'd go with the bandit with one arm.

6. LOL! Yes. Better the bandit with one arm than the incumbent with no
brain.

5. Thelma Drake (VA-02) stayed in DC
when Bush came to help her out. Raised 500K for her, meanwhile spending about 300K for all the extra AF1 and SUV gas and security, plus shutting down highways, which took days to untangle that traffic...lol....

The protestors sold baloney sandwiches for a nickel, which the local news loved!

7. Reminds me of the character, "Major, Major" in "Catch 22"..always "out"
...or caught sneaking out the window of his office when others came to see him.

This Steele character HAD to know Shrub was coming to town. Well, I guess Chimp is learning how the rest of us live...others don't always sit around waiting for us to show up...but move on to their own plans, goals.
