7. Not a whole lot.
He was asked questions about models, his ancestry, and some other inane stuff. But he kept turning it back to his candidacy, and how he has a shot if no one gets 50% by the convention. He also mentioned without pride that he was the only one against the war, the IWR, and wanted the US out of Iraq. What a strange show; first time I've ever seen it.

11. Sounds like he had his head on his shoulders.
Media always trying to portray him as some kind of nut...
Lookee, he's a vegan...OOH, he's not married...WTH, he talks about sprituality without mentioning Jaysus every other word...some kind of nut.

Sounds like he had fun, and then got down to business and didn't let the media control the agenda. Whadya think, those who watched?

I thought Dennis Rocked! Funny, polite, spoke a bit of Croatian and he finally made a basketball shot after they took the stupid baby-doll from him. Yeesh!

Now thats just awesome. :hi: DS
My grandfather's family is from the same region. I am part Slovene. People from that area are good basketball players, in fact Dennis's nephew does something for the WNBA team there in Cleveland. jej by the way is Serb for yay, I learned that from a friend.

It is a Croat, Bosnian/Herzegovinan, and Polish neighborhood in Kansas City Kansas. It welcomes a steady stream of immigrants into the country from the former Yugoslavia.

My neighbors seem to appreciate my Kucinich yard signs.
I even had one write me a letter of support for putting it up.
But then, our Mayor is named Marinovich, though alas, she is married.

The local Catholic church is a Croat Ethnic Parrish, St. John's.
I can't help but think that Dennis would probably feel comfortable
in the hood.

The odd looking bldg on the right is the regional EPA office.

12. I thought he did well
Dry humor, answered the questions well, was a good sport.

The audience seemed to like him, too.

Didn't much care for Craig Kilbourn, whom I had never seen before.

Interestingly, the Mpls Star-Tribune listed his appearance in the TV listings. I wonder if they were trying to forestall an outright assault by the forces of Minnesota for Kucinich. :-)

removing a cruel dictator like Saddam, Dennis said (paraphrase)that we have to decide if we are going to use our resources, risk lives and our global reputation to go after all the bad leaders out there. And besides, there are a lot of people around the world that think Bush should be removed. Should they be allowed to make that decision for us?

models and cheer the sports figures he invites on)....a jerk. The fake baby idea had something to do with requiring a candidate-handicap or something. Not really sure, but Dennis was a good sport and seemed very relaxed and quick with humorous comebacks. He also had a young cheering section in the audience.

When I saw Dennis on the Daily Show awhile back (watching at a friends house - I don't have cable), he didn't seem to be nearly as comfortable and relaxed. So maybe he's hitting his stride and overcoming some of his shyness. He's really got a wicked sense of humor!
