3. I guess I'm interested in the idea
mostly that enthusiasm for Obama has died down quite a bit from 04.

5. Gore!
I'm for Gore. I know he doesn't want to run. But, he is the only one who seems to be really speaking out against the Bush Administration on many different issues.

I really wanted Clinton, but she stood by Bush on the war and a few other things, which seems she isn't standing by US. I'm tired of wimpy Democrats!

Al Gore is the person we need as our next president. He won the popular vote 2000 by
more than 500,000 votes. I believe he can win in 2008.

16. voted for Gore, and meant it, but
my first choice right now is Wesley Clark.

Of course it goes almost without saying that I would vote for any of the above in the general election if that's who the Democrats nominate.

17. I believe Gore would make the best President, but can he win? I'm
beginning to think maybe he could. Just think how different the USa would be today if he had gotten to take his rightful place in the WH.

20. Kerry!
He has proven himself to be a real leader He is the only politician who I can agree with on Iraq and I stand behind him 100%.

Gore's appearance today, tells me that he really hasn't changed much. He is still a cautious politician who is taking a middle of the road stance on the Iraqi withdraw. VP Gore is doing a good job on Global warming, he should stay their.

21. Kerry
I sometimes think he is the only person really speaking out and taking action against the current Admin and the Republican plans to hijack the American Agenda. Kerry led the filibuster against Alito, he strongly criticized the Admin during and after Katrina and has been very eloquent and vocal on Iraq. I would back him again in a heartbeart.

I have n't seen or hearde anyone else who has been quite as vocal about opposing the Republican agenda.

23. STRONGLY prefer "None of the Above" ! Gore and Kerry have run....
Hillary had 8 years in the White House. Barack is 4-12 years away from being ready.

I'd prefer Wes Clark, John Edwards, Mark Warner, Russ Feingold, Evan Bayh or Bill Richardson-in other words, I want a fresh face, not a rehash of 1992, 200, or 2004.

politicians... instead, they run them, and if they lose, slaughter them. (Note: neither Gore nor Kerry really lost)

Gore is unquestionably uber-Presidential material. Run him again!

28. I'm willing to give Gore the benefit of the doubt...We watched him on
Stephanopolis's show today and both my partner and I were very pleasantly surprised. Al really looks good and he handled himself very well, far better than he did during the 2000 campaign. I must admit, I'd be more inclined to give Gore a second look. Kerry is out of the question. While I wasn't happy with Gore's run in 2000, Kerry's race in 2004 left me nauseated. I could have run a better campaign.

If Gore chooses to run (and I REALLLY doubt he will) I'll give him full consideration, in comparison to whoever else runs. I've followed his career for over thirty years and I admire him more than I can say. What frightens me, is that Gore (who represents the left wing of the party) will continue to flirt with running and prevent any serious challenge to Hillary Clinton from the left by Russ Feingold, Wes Clark or John Edwards.
