9. Can we start with he's a lying criminal propagandist?
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 09:43 AM by wtmusic
I don't hate him any more than I hate all the other criminals in the world. He just needs to be put away, that's all.

10. The problem with him is narcissism.
Edited on Tue Jun-06-06 11:51 AM by Writer
He's all smoke-and-mirrors. Political analysts, journalists, and (my guess is also) Karl Rove himself refer to him as a genius.

I have to be quite frank, but given the state of his administration, he is one of the worst individuals to ever work for the Republican Party. He has completely destroyed the Reagan legacy and dismantled the decades-old assumption that many voters had that the GOP was strong on defense.

Now that may sound like a complaint, but not from me. ;) I say Rove should stay a fixture in the GOP for a long, long time.

His public behavior is sometimes petulant, childish. He one time sat on the ground in front of the wheels of Air Force One as a joke. He thumbs his nose (literally) at reporters and has no problem with silly name calling. His behavior is indicative of a malignant narcissist who apparently doesn't believe rules apply to him.

He barely won in 2000 and 2004. 2000 was certainly questionable. A true (or skilled) political genius would have grown his lead in 2004, but he barely eeked out an extra 1%. Before the 2001 Terror Attacks, his man George was at 40-45% approval and he lost control of the senate because of the defection of Jim Jeffords. After the tragedy, I honestly believe that is the only thing that has kept Republicans in control. Not Karl Rove.

So I have no problem using Karl's own language to ridicule him. I think it's ridicule well placed. Therefore I lay it on thick.

Cry, baby, cry.

5. Dems Say Rove Should Apologize or Resign
Sens. Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, Harry Reid, Connecticut and New Jersey Democratic senators and Rep. Jerrold Nadler demanded Karl Rove to either apologize or resign for politicizing the Sept. 11 attacks in his Wednesday speech to the New York State Conservative Party. Scott McClellan and Nicolle Devenish defended Rove, saying that he simply pointed out the different philosophies and approaches to the war on terrorism and that he broadly meant the liberal movement; McClellan added that President Bush would certainly not ask Rove to apologize. While GOP Chairman Ken Mehlman believed that there was no need to apologize because "what Karl Rove said is true," NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg urged both parties to set partisan politics aside on the war on terrorism. Howard Dean also called on Bush to "condemn Rove's desperate and divisive attempt to help the Republicans regain their political footing."

I got this article from Votersdomain dated June 23, 2005... nice stuffs they've got there.

Well, in this case, i guess Writer must have some reasons to get pissed off by Rove, eh? Gee, i don't know much about Rove though. So i can't just say he's an asshole. :headbang:
